Audio for Voice Reporters (from ESP VirtuCon 2)
An ESP Network VirtuCon 2 Event
AUDIO FOR VOX COURT REPORTERS W/ CHRIS, JEREMY, & JENNIFER THOMPSON
Voice reporters have all the same needs and considerations as steno reporters, plus at least one more thing, one more very big thing. In addition to recording the speakers in the room, or remote participants, they also use Dragon, which means at least one more audio stream has to be captured and processed, the reporter’s realtime dictation.
Not only do Vox users need to hear things clearly in order to repeat them, Dragon needs to hear the reporter’s speech as clearly as possible in order to accurately recognize it. Chris Carfagno will join Jeremy Thorne in our opening session for voice reporters to review your best audio options, but more importantly, they will be reviewing new features in Eclipse v10 that aim to make your job just that much easier. While Chris spends time with you on the hardware and setup side of things, Jeremy will speed you through Eclipse v10 and becoming proficient with his new features that focus on audio technology. Jennifer Thompson will join Chris and Jeremy to make sure the practical questions an active voice reporter might have been asked and answered before you even have a chance to ask them!

Much more, time permitting!
