With so many people now carrying around a variety of tablets, smartphones, etc., it's only natural that realtime writers have been looking for an easy way to connect to these devices.  Bridge Mobile was designed to specifically meet that need.  Simply described, Bridge Mobile is the only realtime client program that works with virtually any CAT software and runs on virtually any device.  The CAT software must support either the Bridge or Caseview output protocol, which includes recent versions of Eclipse, CaseCATalyst, ProCAT, StenoCAT, DigitalCAT and AristoCAT.  The device must be able to run a web browser, which includes most computers, smartphones and tablets: iPhones, iPads, Android tablets, Mac computers, etc.

Learn about it from Keith Vincent on October 30 and November 6th, and earn .4 CEU in the process.

The name "Bridge Mobile" has multiple meanings.  First, it works with mobile equipment like iPads, iPods, iPhones, Android devices, Windows tablets, but also PC/Mac/Linux computers -- pretty much anything that could browse the internet.  Second, it can work with or without internet connection (just plug in a portable WiFi router and run Connection Magic Local).  Third, it is not limited to working only with Eclipse; it can work with ANY program because it supports traditional CaseView output.  (Of course, if your CAT software supports the Bridge refresh protocol, you can take the "rough" out of rough draft.)

In this two-part webinar, Keith Vincent will offer a comprehensive view of Connection Magic and Bridge Mobile.  Topics include:

WHAT IS CONNECTION MAGIC?

  • A Quick Look at Connection Magic and Shared Editing
  • Connection Magic and the Internet
  • Connection Magic Local (no internet connection required)
  • Connection Magic Link (how non-Eclipse users can connect to Bridge Mobile)
  • A Quick Look at Bridge 3 for PC

Keith Vincent has been an Eclipse user and tester for more than 20 years.  He has given many seminars at the state, national, and even international level and is a regular speaker at the annual Eclipse users convention.  He has presented more than two dozen classes for EclipseWebinars.com since its creation about five years ago.  Many people know him as the creator of more than 250 Visualizer movies that are built into Total Eclipse and over a dozen Visualizers that are built into the new Passport Touch writer.  He is also an active reporter in depositions and arbitrations.  He has been one of the earliest users of Eclipse Connection Magic and Bridge Mobile and has countless hours of real-world experience to share.

Two hours is not enough time for all this information plus questions and answers, so this is a two-part webinar.

Join us for Part 1 on Wednesday, October 30 and for Part 2 on Wednesday, November 6.  Each presentation runs from 8:30-10:30 Eastern Time, but you can also view the edited recording if you find that more convenient.  Some folks attend the live presentation and then watch the recording to absorb it all.
